Mustang Families,
I am pleased to serve this community and campus here in Marble Falls!
I am a proud graduate of Texas State University! I earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Sports Science. My masters degree in educational leadership was earned through Lamar University in 2015.
I have spent my previous 7 years in education serving in administration and learning and leading to provide a better experience for our students and teachers. It has been an amazing journey that has allowed me to learn from three great districts!
I have over 17 years of experience in education. I spent 10 years in the classroom as a History teacher and in various competition arenas as a coach. My greatest joy as a teacher and a coach was being able to connect with students and their families.
My wife, Jennifer, is a principal for an elementary campus in San Marcos CISD. We have two daughters ages 11 and 7. Our eldest daughter will be attending school here in Marble Falls middle school.
It is with great privilege that I am able to lead this campus, the students, and the community. My vision is to bring out the best in every student, teacher, and staff member. I believe that the purpose of education is to promote healthy and diverse global views with local actions. It is to grow beyond the controls and systems of our conditions in order to positively impact our environment. Education should lead to the financial, spiritual, and academic freedom necessary to achieve true discovery of self and our world. We effectively accomplish this by working together to solve problems.
Together I hope that we can have a positive and productive school year that allows for our growth as Mustangs!
Mr. Gonzalez
Mrs. Wheeler is from Lampasas, Texas. After graduating from Lampasas, she headed to Texas A&M University earning a degree in Political Science. Mrs. Wheeler earned her Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M-Central Texas. She started her teaching career in 2007, teaching 6th grade Language Arts. Mrs. Wheeler has also taught middle school history, been a K-5th interventionist, and a District Gifted and Talented Coordinator. She was a middle school Assistant Principal in Copperas Cove, Texas prior to joining the Marble Falls family.
She and her husband Shawn have been married for 23 years, and they have 3 children. Their oldest, Cole, is a junior at The University of Texas (yes, we have a house divided). Their daughter, Aspen, is a senior in high school, and their youngest, Cale, is a sophmore. You can usually find the Wheeler family at a field, court, debate tournament, theatre production or track when they aren't at school!
Mr. Docherty is from Marble Falls and is a proud graduate of Marble Falls High School. After graduating from Marble Falls, he attended Texas State University where he earned a degree in social work. He later earned his Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. Prior to school administration, Mr. Docherty began his teaching career in 2014 at Marble Falls Middle School. During that time, he served as a math teacher, coach, and positive behavior teacher. He previously served as a middle school Assistant Principal in Lake Travis, before returning to Marble Falls in 2020.
Mr. Docherty is married to his Marble Falls High School sweetheart, Maggie, who also works in the district as an elementary teacher. They are proud parents of two children who are also students in the district. The Docherty family loves all things sports (especially the Houston Astros, Red Raiders, Longhorns, and Liverpool FC) but especially enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Bradley is excited to be a part of the MFMS team. Marble Falls ISD not only strives to “love and inspire” its students, but does so also for its educators. Mr. Bradley began his career in education in 2007. He graduated from Concordia University - Irvine, CA with degrees in English and Theatre, and minors in Education and Theology. It took him until 2020 to find his way to the Texas Hill Country, but now that his family is here, they have no plans to leave anytime soon.
He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Schreiner University in 2021. Mr. Bradley's goal is to support teachers and students alike so that everyone involved in the educational process has the ability to reach their fullest potential. When he is not looking for ways to help others, his great loves are: quality time with his wife and their son, traveling and finding new adventures, reading books and watching movies.
When Mr. Bradley was in the classroom, before any students could leave the room he would always remind them that “I am here to help.”
